Cooking school admissions representatives have noticed a dramatic rise in enrollment applications during the past couple of years.
Most of these admissions counselors believe that the increase in applications is due to an increase in interest of becoming a professional chef from the appearance of all of the various cooking shows on television. These TV shows have taken the working chef from out of the kitchen and placed him on stage, under the bright lights of show business.
